Zadar Airport marked the arrival of its one millionth passenger with a short ceremonial event. The passenger was Ivan Kevrić, who arrived on a Ryanair flight from the German city of Memmingen.

“I am thrilled with the prize. I visit Zadar often, and I hope that thanks to this award I will be coming even more frequently,” said the happy passenger on the occasion.

The prize – two return tickets from Zadar to one of approximately 70 destinations – was presented to him by the Director of Zadar Airport, Josip Klišmanić.

“We are pleased to reward a passenger like this, for whom our symbolic prize will truly be useful. This year, we expect around 1.25 million passengers, which is 12 percent more than last year. In August alone, 295,000 passengers were recorded, making it the busiest month in the history of Zadar Airport,” said Director Klišmanić.

This year, the millionth passenger milestone was reached almost a month earlier than last year.
