Zadar Airport Welcomes Wizz Air: New Routes to Budapest and Warsaw

Zadar Airport officially expanded its network today with the arrival of Wizz Air’s inaugural flight W62471 from Budapest. The Hungarian low-cost carrier is the latest addition to the airport’s airline portfolio.In addition to the new Budapest service, Wizz Air’s summer schedule includes a route to Warsaw, operating four times weekly.
 
The inaugural flight was met with a celebratory welcome. Zadar Airport Director, Josip Klišmanić, and Head of Commercial, Tomislav Žepina, greeted the first passengers alongside Wizz Air’s Route Development Manager, Jorge Otero Chamoso. This partnership marks a significant step in strengthening Zadar’s connectivity with key Central European markets.
