Third Based Aircraft Arrives in Zadar
Ryanair, Europe’s and Croatia’s No. 1 airline, today (May 31) celebrates 15 years of operations in Zadar by launching six new routes to Bordeaux, Bournemouth, Helsinki, Liverpool, Sofia, and Turin. These routes are part of its strongest-ever summer schedule from Zadar, featuring a total of 46 routes, including 13 new ones, with high aircraft occupancy expected throughout the season.
As a result, Ryanair’s base in Zadar will increase its fleet to a total of three based aircraft by mid-June. This investment, worth approximately USD 300 million, will support the creation of 90 well-paid aviation jobs and indirectly stimulate the creation of around 700 additional jobs in Zadar.

Expecting exceptionally strong summer demand to and from Zadar, Ryanair will operate 120 weekly flights this summer, which is 65 more than in the pre-pandemic year 2019, aiming to recover the tourist arrivals lost over the past two summers. Zadar-based customers will also benefit from a wide range of destinations to top European cities in Italy, Germany, and France.
