Zadar Airport Ltd. participates as a project partner in the EU project entitled STEP UP (Sustainable Transport E-Planner UPgrade IT–HR Mobility). The significance of this project lies in the fact that it is the first EU-funded project in which Zadar Airport participates as a project partner. The project represents a continuation of the INTERMODAL project, capitalising on results collected through research, with the main objective of promoting multimodal passenger mobility, i.e. the use and combination of different modes of transport as an optimal travel solution.
In addition to Zadar Airport, project partners from Croatia include the City of Šibenik and the Split-Dalmatia County, while Italian partners include the Marche Region, the Emilia-Romagna Region, the City of Lecce and the University of Trieste.
Upon completion of the project, Zadar Airport will implement an IT solution that will provide passengers with all necessary information on the available options for using multimodal transport.
