We have the pleasure to inform you that an easyJet aircraft landed in Zadar bringing 154 passengers from London (Luton). The arrival of easyJet as one of the leading European low cost airlines is significantly important for Zadar Airport.
It is one of the most popular European airline companies. They transport an average of 73 million passengers, flying to 800 destinations in 130 airports of 31 countries, and today we can proudly say that Zadar is a part of their offer.
The aircrafts of this company will from today connect Zadar with London every Saturday and Wednesday until 30th September. The new destination to Milan starts on June 27 and Zadar will be connected with this Italian city three times a week.
This morning's arrival of the first easyJet flight was marked by the traditional and attractive water cannons of the Zadar Airport Fire Brigade.
In the first four months of the present year, Zadar Airport has had an increase of 24% passengers with regards to the same period last year, while the April increase was of 15%. We hope that these positive numbers will be even higher until the end of 2017.
